Refund Policy
We want you to be confident in your subscription. This policy describes when and how refunds are issued and how the free trial works.
14-day free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro features. No credit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged anything during the trial period. At the end of the trial, you can choose to subscribe to Solo, Pro, or do nothing — if you do not actively subscribe, your account simply transitions to a read-only state where you can still export anything you created.
Because no payment is taken during the trial, no refund is needed if you decide not to continue.
30-day money-back guarantee
Within 30 days of your first paid subscription charge (after the trial), we will issue a full refund — no questions asked, no friction. Email support@crewlog.io with your account email and we will process the refund within 5 business days.
This applies to your first paid subscription only. Subsequent renewals are not eligible for the 30-day guarantee.
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings or the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
- We do not pro-rate or refund partial months for cancellations after the 30-day window.
- You will not be charged for the next billing period after cancellation takes effect.
Refunds outside the 30-day window
We will consider refunds for the most recent billing period in the following cases:
- Service-wide outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours — we will issue a pro-rated refund proportional to the outage duration upon request.
- Billing errors on our end — duplicate charges, charges after cancellation, or incorrect amounts will be refunded promptly.
- Unauthorized charges — if your account was charged without authorization, contact us immediately and we will investigate and refund as appropriate.
What we don't refund
- Charges from billing periods more than 30 days old, except as described above.
- Charges for time you didn't actively use the Service after the 30-day window.
- Charges where the service was provided as agreed.
How to request a refund
Email support@crewlog.io with:
- Your account email address
- The charge date and amount
- Reason for the refund (optional but appreciated)
We will respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 additional days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we resolve issues quickly. If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, we may suspend your account pending the chargeback investigation.
