Voice, photos, and typed notes are saved on the device before they are sent. You can log a full day in a basement or on a site with no bars. A small waiting state means the entry is local and not on the server yet.
Photos upload to storage with a short-lived link once you are online. The PDF is built on the server, so export waits until the day’s entries have synced.
