Log an entry

Voice, photo, or typed note. Most days start with the mic.

On Home, the copper “Log an entry” control is the main way in. Talk for a few seconds. Crewlog transcribes the note, then sorts it into the record — labor, materials, a visitor, weather, and so on — so you can confirm it before it is saved.

Photo and a typed note sit next to voice. Photos are stored with the location and time of capture when GPS is on. You can turn GPS off in settings. Voice works in English and Spanish.

  • Crew members can add a general note or a photo. They cannot add work, material, visitor, incident, milestone, or weather entries.
  • Project managers and site managers can add every entry type.
  • If the site has no signal, the entry stays on the phone and syncs later. See Work without service.
